Psychotherapy: Why do it?

I have found over and over and over again that people who work through their feelings–however unpleasant or scary they are–have happier, more fulfilled lives.  I love doing this kind of work because I get to see people move from some of the worst times in their lives to much, much better. I hope that if you are hurting, struggling, alone or desperate that you will reach out to a psychologist. I think you will be glad you did.
